The Standard

A Sunday letter on Radical Ownership.

One short note in your inbox every Sunday morning. The truths I am still naming. The practices I am still keeping. The questions worth sitting with.

What it sounds like

You've been telling yourself you'll address it once things calm down.

Once this quarter wraps. Once the kids are back in school. Once the move is done. Once the launch ships. Once you have a free Saturday.

Things aren't going to calm down.

Busy isn't a problem. Busy is a strategy. The most socially acceptable excuse there is for not addressing what actually needs addressing.

You're not busy. You're avoiding.

Who is this for

For the woman tired of explaining her life instead of changing it.

For the leader who knows the next chapter is on her — not on the season, not on the team, not on the timing.

For the reader who already suspects that knowing more is not the answer, and is ready to be asked the harder question.

Three to five minutes every Sunday. One idea per letter. No pitches. No sales. Just a letter from someone still doing the work.

About

I'm Connie. Freedom Architect, writer, coach, and creator of the Radical Ownership Framework.

I spent more than a decade in retail leadership, most recently as Vice President of Retail in cannabis in Florida. In 2025, I walked away from the VP role to build my own platform around what I now call Radical Ownership.

I write The Standard from inside the work I'm still doing on my own life. The truths I'm still naming. The practices I'm still keeping. The questions I'm still sitting with.

I'm also writing a book — Own It All: Own your life. Forge your freedom. — coming soon. The Standard is where you'll hear first when it launches.
